The detection of gravity waves is one of the most elusive goals in physics. With the opening of LIGO (the Laser Interferometer Gravitational wave Observatory), it may finally be possible to detect these mysterious waves. |

For many years, Dr. James Edmonds has worked on simplifying the Dirac equation. He has recently been able to show that the full Dirac equation fits in a 16-part algebra rather than needing a 32-part algebra as commonly thought. |
For many years, Dr. Robert Mahfoud has focused his research efforts on the abiogenic theory for the origin of petroleum. |
Dr. Stinnett’s research interests currently involve computational micromagnetics and small world nanomaterials. He works in collaboration with the computational physics group at Mississippi State University. |
